Tabernacle Together Forever with YHWH
We continue into the Seventh and final Biblical "Appointed
Time-aka– a Moad."
The Feast of Tabernacles, or Feast of Booths, is the grand
finale of the annual cycle of Times when YHWH invites us up
into His Presence to commune with Him in a special way. This
final time, it is for us - to tabernacle with Him for the
longest period of all.
In fact, this Feast, while remembering the Time when Yisrael
dwelt in booths for forty years, continually in His Presence,
it looks forward to the time when we shall dwell with Him
eternally. One of the names of this special-time is Ha Z’man
Simchatanu –Or - “The Time of our Rejoicing”-
! So, for eight days we celebrate in Booths/Sukkot and ponder
His direction and His love for us.
The traditional greeting during this time is "Moad-Samayach
- Sukkot" which means Happy Moad-Sukkot, and a happy
time it is.
There are ‘3’ - Appointed Times - (mo'edeem),
also referred to as "Feasts” or Sacred-Appointments
of Yahweh which are designated specifically as Yahweh’s
Moadim."
1. The First one is Pesach, or the
Passover-Season; also known as the Moad-Matzoth, which covers
the first and last days as High or Holy-Days;
2. The Second is Shavuot, The feast of Weeks,
- also referred to as the Feast of Pentecost and
3. Third is the Feast of Tabernacles, or Moad-Sukkot,
where the first and last days are High-Days or Holy-days/Mikra-Kodesh
Yommim for a total of THREE Annual High/Holy/Kodesh Pilgrimage
TIMES in each year…
“The Feast of Un-Leavened Bread/Moad-Matzoth
and The Feast of Booths/Moad”
The Feast of Un-Leavened Bread or Moad-Matzoth begins on
the Spring at the Full-Moon, and The Feast of Booths, or Moad
–Sukkot for the Fall Full-Moon.
These Spring & Fall Moadim begins under a full moon according
to YHWH's instruction and are intended to be annual pilgrimages
or ascension to the Feasts of Yahweh where all Yisraelites
men were instructed to assemble in Yerushalayim. These
are also called the Shalosh Regalim; 3 annual pilgrimages.
In Matthew 17 we
see Yah'shua going up to the Place of His Transfiguration.
A few verses before, in 16:24,
He speaks to His disciples of denying and afflicting themselves.
These two themes are taught on Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonements
upon which He gave them this lesson.
How do we know this?
Well, look at verse 17:1
- for the clue which establishes our time line. Six days later
is the second day of Tabernacles. On the first and the
last days of this eight day Sacred-Festival, we are not
allowed to walk beyond a Sabbath Day's journey. But in the
second day of this Moad-Feast of Remembrance, He took His
closest friends up to be present when the Father confirmed
His Presence, as He did to all of Israel for forty years.
The first evidence of the Shekinah - (pronounced
Sh' key nah) – or His Glory - leading Yisrael
was, you will remember, The Pillar of Fire. Verse
2- describes Yah'shua becoming like that Pillar of
Light. The second evidence was a Pillar of Cloud. As you read
in verse 5, that
same CLOUD - covered the mountaintop and out of it came the
Voice of YHWH/Yahweh Himself.

Leviticus 23:23-24 "Sukkot -Tabernacles/Booth"
YHWH/Yahweh has Ordained that ALL of His Yisrael would Gather
and Celebrate the 40 years that our Forefathers were Led
by His Presence in the wilderness.
In the Hebrew language, many words have more than one meaning.
So it is for the word "Sukkot." Sukkot means
"Tabernacles"; but it also means "Booths."
We are Commanded to erect Booths, and to Dwell-in them for
these eight nights and Days. So a Sukkah - (one booth) - is
constructed according to specific instructions.
It must have at least three walls and a roof or ceiling through
which the Sun, the Moon, and the stars may be barely seen,
but SEEN. The walls may be of virtually any material; but
the Roof must be thatched, or overlaid with Skock*, - (* =
Leaves & Branches of local-trees) - so we may see the
anticipated Sight of the Shekinah, The Radiant Glory of Yahweh/YHVH.
In fact, the materials are specified; four species are in
order.
In each is a lesson of those who make up Am Yisrael (the People
of Yisrael), and indeed that make up the called out children
of the Living ELohim.
The Four Species according to Jewish Tradition. Zechariah
