Camp Rules for Yahweh's Mount Zion Encampment

Chag-Sukkot
1. There shall be "1", yes one Law/Torah for ALL Israel, and everyone dwelling among us...with No Exceptions, no special treatment as Torah clearly States!

2. Report all mechanical failures to either Sh'liach or Rav David immediately! This includes plumbing, electrical, etc. …

3. We will ask for volunteers to serve on the security team. This is to insure that we don't have any unwelcome visitors at the camp, such as vandals, or folks just out for a joy ride on their 4 wheel drive vehicles.

4. We will ask for volunteers to set up before the meals, and clean up after the meals. However, everyone will be responsible for cleaning up after eating. This includes bussing your plate/tray, putting the used plastic ware in an appropriate container, and dumping the garbage into appropriate containers

5. We will try our best to keep the garbage in separate containers...burnable paper, plastic, etc. vs. cans, bottles, etc.

6. No unauthorized* person(s) is/are allowed in the kitchen areas at anytime. You must have permission and instructions to use any of the kitchen areas. ( * = simply means those persons just visiting & not working there, nor volunteering to do any work; so as to avoid this being a hank-out area )…

7. All authorized persons must meet daily to coordinate all schedules, including cooking menus, clean-up crews, speaking and teaching times for that day, etc., etc…

8. No street or outside shoes on in any Areas of the permanent buildings on the Mountain. We would ask that you please take your shoes off before going inside the buildings. Plus, ALL showers must be kept to a minimum Time-Table,...preferably under 8 minutes. Also, the bathrooms must always be left in neat manner after each usage.

9. No pets allowed inside any of the permanent buildings.
If you have a pet, please make sure he or she does its "business" away from public areas. Also, your pet must be kept on a leash or kept inside your tent, camper , etc. No free roaming pets at any time.

11. No riding around on any of the grounds without a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Especially "IF" it is has rained recently during this time of the year. Therefore, the ground is obviously very soft. We do not want anyone getting stuck in the mud, and leaving deep-ruts and scars on the property landscape.

12. Shorts and bathing suits will be allowed, but the attire must be kept modest.

13. There will be no use of firearms by anyone, unless supervised by Rav David or Sh'liach, or another Authorized person, and only in an approved area away from the main camp.

14. Fishing will be allowed in the pond with permission from Rav David or Sh'liach. However, there will be no fishing on High Days and Sabbaths. Also, fishing will be catch-and-release, with barb-less or pinched barb hooks only, "unless it is decided that we will be keeping some fish for a possible joint camp meal.

15. Moderate use of alcohol will be permitted, but absolutely no drunkenness will be tolerated.

16. No sowing of discord will be tolerated! We will be a group who is/are following different calendars, different Sabbaths, etc.; therefore, we must have Echod In Ruach/Spirit of Friendly and civil discussion(s) about the various beliefs is/are welcome and encouraged.. However, there will be no teasing or antagonizing anyone for their particular belief.

17. When we are having mutually agreed-upon, congregational meals, we expect everyone to be there on time. We cannot run a come "when-ever you please" restaurant!

18. Everyone is expected to follow YHWH's Golden Rule, i.e., "to treat others the way you want to be treated. This applies to cleaning up after yourself in the meal area of the tent, at your campsite, in the bathrooms, etc. If you make a mess, please clean it up. This also includes picking up any trash or garbage left behind".

19. The Local Tunkhannock Library has FREE High-Speed Cable Computer usage from 9 am until 5 pm Mondays thru Fridays; and until noon on Saturdays to the public…
